About Mackenzie Howard

Mackenzie works with adolescents and adults who are exhausted from always being the strong one, who overthink conversations, worry about disappointing people, and struggle to put themselves first without guilt. She helps people move out of people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, and self-doubt, and toward healthier boundaries, more trust in their own judgment, and more peace day to day.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. She’s not looking for clients to arrive with all the answers, she wants to help them find their own patterns and build something steadier from there. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She draws from CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and humanistic, person-centered therapy, shaped around whoever is actually in front of her.

When she’s not with clients, you’ll usually find Mackenzie by the water, trying a new fitness class, lost in a good book, or with family and friends.
