About Lia Forma
Lia is a Social Worker who has over 15 years of experience working in both community and residential environments. She has worked with a wide range of individuals, though the common experiences include mental health struggles, addiction, trauma, intimate partner violence, and women's health.
Lia works from a person-centered, nonjudgmental approach to help clients get to the root of their struggles with compassion and gentleness. She is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities to help walk alongside her clients through their healing journey. She is flexible in her methods and is focused on helping her clients build autonomy at their pace.
Lia has engaged in her own personal therapy and understands the need for genuine support and care as both the client and therapist.
In her spare time, Lia spends time with her partner, step-kids, and puppies. She enjoys gardening, working on home projects, and giving back to her community.
